In the eagle's right talon is a scepter, in the left an orb. Under the right talon are the letters 'SP', under the left 'B', denoting the Saint Petersburg Mint. Around the eagle, facing inward, the inscription: 'MONETA* NOVAYA* TSENA* POLTINA• 1726'.
