Reverse Offset to the left and upwards, the central element of the coin is the denomination: 2 RUBLES. In the left and lower-right parts of the coin are scrolls of a flowering plant.
Obverse At the top along the rim (edge) is the coin's denomination 'DVA RUBLYA' (TWO RUBLES). In the center of the coin is a double-headed eagle and below it, arranged in a semicircle, the words 'BANK ROSSII' (BANK OF RUSSIA). Under the eagle's left foot is the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'MMD'. At the bottom near the edge of the coin is the year of mintage '2012', above the year are two pointed, oppositely directed lines with a dot.
