In the eagle's right talon are a sword and scepter, in the left an orb. Below the shield are the empire's highest honors. The shield depicts the coats of arms of Hungary, Bohemia, Burgundy, and Tuscany; in the center is a crowned shield with the arms of Austria and Lorraine. Below the eagle's talons are Latin letters: left 'A∙', right 'S∙'. Along the edge arc are Latin inscriptions: right and left 'ARCH∙AUST∙D∙BURG∙LOTH∙M∙D∙HET∙1771∙' (Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Lorraine, Grand Duke of Tuscany 1771). At the end of the legend is a mark in the shape of the Latin letter 'X'. The edge is decorated with decorative denticles.
