Obverse
In the central part of the inner disc, a stylized arching portal is depicted, symbolizing Slovakia's entry into the Eurozone. Above the map of the country: on the right, the euro sign surrounded by five-pointed stars; on the left, the coat of arms of Slovakia. Below it are the marks: a circle with the Latin letters 'MK' for the Kremnica Mint, a square with the initials of the artist Pavol Károly 'PK', below them the date of the state's formation '1.1.1993' and the year of minting '2018'. Along the left and bottom edge of the inner disc is the name of the state in Slovak 'SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA' (Slovak Republic). Along the rim are twelve equally spaced five-pointed stars.
