Reverse
In the central part of the reverse – a 12-petaled lotus flower (four large and eight small). Inscription: ໑໙໕໒ / ໒໐ ອັດ / 20 CENTS / 1952. The coin has a central hole.
Obverse
Depicts the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Laos – a three-headed elephant (the central head is shown frontally, the other two in profile). Above the elephant's heads, seven stripes ascend in a conical shape – a stylized depiction of the White Parasol. Inscription: ROYAUME DU LAOS / ພະຣາຊະອານາຈັກລາວ / 1952. The coin has a central hole.
