In the central part, against a sea background, are depicted: a cruise liner at the top, a Bermuda pyramid below it, and a coconut palm to the right. Along the edge of the coin is an inscription: the year of minting '1985' at the top, and in English at the bottom – 'ONE DOLLAR'.

In the central part is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Raphael David Maklouf – 'RDM'. Along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left, the name of the British Overseas Territory 'BERMUDA', on the right, the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II'.
