One bird flies parallel to the sea with its wings pointed down, while above it another bird is taking off with its wings pointed up. Along the edge of the coin, in an arc: the year of mintage '1993' at the top, and in English at the bottom – 'TWO DOLLARS'.
Obverse
In the central part is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom wearing a crown. Below the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Raphael David Maklouf – 'RDM'. Along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left, the name of the British Overseas Territory 'BERMUDA', and on the right, the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II'.
