In the central part, within a circle and against a background of numeral ones, the inscription '1S'. Inscriptions in English: at the top 'ONE DOLLAR', at the bottom 'BOND COIN', to the right and left a regular pentagon. The edge is decorated with decorative teeth.
Obverse
Centered, against a background of the repeating abbreviation for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe 'RBZ', the mint year '2016' is depicted horizontally. The fields of the digits are filled with diagonal hatching. The image is within a circle, along the outer side of which is a pattern of alternating abbreviations and pyramids. Along the rim are decorative raised teeth.
