    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown, on its chest a crowned heraldic shield. On the shield, the left part depicts Saint Anne holding an infant, the right part shows the Austrian coat of arms. Along the edge arc of the coin are inscriptions in German: on the right and left 'S∙ANNÆ FUND GRUBEN AUST∙THA∙IN∙N∙OE∙1758' (Saint Anne's Fund Mine, silver mining for the thaler in Lower Austria 1758). Below are two crossed hammers tied with a ribbon forming a bow, framed by the eagle's tail feathers. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. Along the edge arc of the coin is text in Latin: on the left and right 'M∙THERESIA∙D∙G∙R∙IMP∙GE∙HU∙BO∙REG∙' (Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
