In the central part is the crowned, double-tailed heraldic lion of Bohemia. Below the image is the year of minting '1941'. Along the rim is the name of the Nazi German Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia: at the top in German 'BOHMEN UND MAHREN', at the bottom in Czech - 'CECHY A MORAVA'. The inscriptions are framed by quatrefoils.
