On both sides of the border, the number '15' is placed vertically. Around the circumference along the rim is the German inscription 'FUNFZEHEN KREUTZER ERBLAENDISCH∙1807∙' (Fifteen Kreuzer hereditary lands 1807). The edge of the coin has a toothed pattern.

Centered within a dotted border is the right-facing profile of Franz II, Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Below the portrait is the Latin letter 'S'. On both sides of the border, the number '15' is placed vertically. Along the arc of the coin's edge runs a German text: to the right and left 'FRANZ KAIS∙V∙OEST∙KOEN∙Z∙HUN∙BOEH∙GALIZ∙U∙LOD∙' (Franz Emperor of Austria, King of Hungary, Bohemia, Galicia and Lodomeria).
