    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown; in its right talon a sword and scepter, in its left an orb; on its breast a crowned heraldic shield depicting the arms of Austria and Lorraine, surrounded by a chain. Along the edge arc, inscriptions in Latin: to the right and left 'VIRTUTE ET EXEMPLO∙1747' (By Virtue and Example 1747), at the bottom the number seven in Roman numerals - 'VII', framed by the eagle's tail feathers. At the end of the legend, a mark in the shape of the Latin letter 'X'. To the left above a feather the Latin letter 'C.', to the right - 'K.'. Around the edge of the coin are decorative raised denticles.

Below the truncation, the Latin letter 'A' - the mint mark of Vienna. Along the edge arc, text in Latin: to the right and left 'IOSEPH∙II∙D:G∙R∙I∙S∙A∙GE∙REX∙A∙A∙LO∙&∙M∙H∙D∙' (Joseph II, by the Grace of God, Holy Roman Emperor, King of Germany, Archduke of Austria, Lodomeria, and Grand Duke of Tuscany). Around the edge of the coin are decorative raised denticles.
