Reverse The central part features the monogram of Catherine II. Above the monogram is the imperial crown. On either side of the monogram are the digits of the coin's year of issue: on the left "17", on the right "86" (1786). In the left part of the coin, a laurel branch runs along the inner circle, and in the right part, a palm branch. At the base, the branches are tied with a ribbon, the knot of which forms a bow.
Obverse The central part of the obverse depicts St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is on the right). Below the horse are the letters "E" and "M". Along the lower edge is a curved banner indicating the coin's denomination: ДЕНГА (DENGA).
