  • Reverse
    In the central part of the reverse is a relief depiction of the coat of arms of Hungary, adorned on both sides with laurel branches, its crown supported by two angels. Along the rim on the sides is the inscription: 'MAGYAR ORSZÁG AP KIRÁLYA', translated from German: 'King of Hungary', and 1869 - the year of minting. The edge of the coin features decorative raised dots.
  • Obverse
    In the central part is a full-length right profile of King Franz Joseph I wearing a crown, holding an orb in his left hand and a scepter in his right. Starting on the left side, the text along the rim reads: 'FERENCZ J.', and on the right along the rim: 'A. CSÁSZÁR', translated from German: 'Franz Joseph Emperor of Austria'. Below the figure of the king is the abbreviation 'GY.F', indicating the mint in Karlsburg. The edge of the coin features decorative raised dots.
