The wreath branches (at the bottom) are tied with a ribbon forming a bow. The edge is decorated with decorative denticles.

    In the central part is the left-facing profile of King George V of Great Britain wearing a crown. Along the arc of the coin's edge runs the Latin text 'GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP:', which translates to 'GEORGE V BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF ALL BRITAIN, DEFENDER OF THE FAITH EMPEROR OF INDIA'. A raised dot is below. The coin's rim features decorative raised denticles.
