    In the central part is the small coat of arms of the Austrian Empire: a double-headed eagle with spread wings, its heads are haloed, above them is the Crown of Saint Stephen; in the eagle's right talon is a sword, in the left a scepter. On the eagle's breast is an oval framed by a chain, inside it the numeral '6'. Around the circumference along the rim is an inscription in German: 'SECHS∙KREUTZER∙ ERBLAENDISCH∙1800∙' (Six Kreuzer of the Hereditary Lands 1800). The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, Francis II, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Along the arc of the coin's edge runs text in German: on the left, top, and right 'FRANZ∙II∙RÖM∙KAI∙KÖN∙Z∙HU∙U∙BÖ∙ERZH∙Z∙OEST∙' (Francis II Roman Emperor, King of Hungary, Bohemia, Archduke of Austria). Below is the Latin letter 'S', beneath it crossed branches: on the left laurel, on the right palm. The rim is surrounded by denticles.
