Below that, an iron bridge connecting the Peloponnese with mainland Greece. Along the arc of the lower edge is a stylized depiction of water. To the left of the portrait is the Breal's Cup, awarded at the first Olympics in Athens in 1896. To the right is the inscription ten euros '10 EYPΩ'. To the right, under the bridge, is the engraver's mark of Georges Stamatopoulos – 'ΣTAM'.

In the central part, within a raised circle against a five-pointed star, is the coat of arms of Greece: a heraldic shield with a cross, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Above it is the country name 'Hellenic Republic' in Greek 'EΛΛHNIKH ΔHMOKATIA'. In the upper part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is the text 'The Age of Iron and Glass' in Greek 'EПOXH ΣIΔHPOY KAI ГYAΛIOY'. To the left of the coat of arms is a stylized acanthus leaf – the mintmark of the Athens Mint, to the right is the year of issue '2017'. Below is the mark of the European Coin Programme.
