    The center is divided in half, top to bottom. On the left side is a three-line inscription "5 EURO 2015", which translates from French as "5 euro 2015". The numbers "2015" indicate the year of issue. Above is the UNESCO logo. Below the date is a raised dot. Further down are the marks: the "cornucopia" denoting the Paris Mint and the "mint mark - pentagon" representing the workshop director Yves Sampo (Yves Samp). They are separated from the date by a broken line. Above the marks is a raised dot. Along the left and top edge of the coin is an inscription in French "PARIS, RIVES DE LA SEINE", translating to "Paris, Banks of the Seine". The right side features a schematic map of historic Paris. Along the right edge, from top to bottom, is a two-word inscription: "GRAND PALAIS" and "INVALIDES", which translate from French as "Grand Palais" and "Les Invalides" - a complex of buildings and structures including museums and monuments, which are historical landmarks of France.
