    Along the upper rim, the name of the Kazakh national ritual 'Kyz Kuu', which translates as 'Catch the Girl'. Below is the year of issue '2008', with a decorative raised dot pattern on the left and right. The central part depicts the Kazakh steppe with two riders, a man and a woman, galloping on horses.

    Along the rim, the country name: on the left in Kazakh 'KAZAKSTAN RESPUBLIKASY', on the right in Russian 'RESPUBLIKA KAZAKHSTAN'. In the center, the national coat of arms is depicted against a background of national ornaments. The coat of arms features a shanyrak (the upper domed part of a yurt) in the form of a cross inscribed in a circle, from which support rays radiate, flanked by mythical winged horses, tulpars. Above, between the wings, is a five-pointed star; below is the country name 'KAZAKSTAN'. Below the coat of arms is the large numeral 50, and beneath it the inscription 'TENGE', highlighted with raised dot elements.
