    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown; in its right talon is a sword, in its left a scepter; on its breast is a crowned heraldic shield depicting the arms of Austria and Lorraine, surrounded by a chain. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin inscription on the right and left: 'ARCH∙AUST∙D∙BU∙LO∙M∙DUX∙HET∙1786∙' (Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Lorraine, Grand Duke of Tuscany 1786). The coin's rim features decorative raised denticles.
