    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown. In the right talon is a sword and scepter, in the left an orb. On its chest is a crowned heraldic shield depicting the coat of arms of the Roman Empire, surrounded by a chain. Below the shield are the empire's highest honors. Along the edge arc of the coin is a Latin inscription on the right and left: 'GERM∙HVN∙BOH∙REX∙A∙A∙D∙LOTH∙VEN∙SAL∙1806∙' (King of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia, Archduke of Austria, Duke of Lorraine, Venice, Salzburg 1806). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.

    Centered is the right-facing profile of Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, Francis II, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Along the edge arc of the coin runs a Latin text: on the left, top, and right 'FRACISCVS II∙D∙G∙ROM∙ET HAER∙AVST∙IMP∙' (Francis II, by the Grace of God, Roman Emperor and Hereditary Emperor of Austria). Below is the letter 'A' - the mint mark for the city of Vienna. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
