    The central part features the denomination in two lines: ДЕНГА. Below it, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Slavonic: 1715. The surrounding inscription reads: ВСЕѦ РОСIИ ПОВЕЛIТЕЛЬ. The rim resembles twisted rope—the traditional denticles are set at an angle to the ground.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both eagle heads bear crowns, with a larger third crown between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. The surrounding inscription reads: ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕЗIЕВIЧЪ. The rim is decorated with dots.
