    The central part features a fragment of a Mycenaean decorative motif. Around the circumference of the pattern is the inscription - «ΑΡΧΑΙΑ ΤΥΡΙΝΘΑ - ΜΥΚΗΝΕΣ» (Greek for Ancient Tiryns-Mycenae).

    The central part, against a background of a stylized sun pattern, depicts the coat of arms of Greece: a heraldic shield with a cross, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Below the coat of arms, on the right is the year of mintage '2013', on the left – a stylized acanthus leaf – the mintmark of the Athens Mint, Greece.
