    The denomination is indicated on two lines (with bordered dots on the left and right) and the monetary unit: •3•KOPEYKI. Below the word is a decorative line as a divider. Beneath the divider is the year of minting '1827.'
  • Obverse
    The central part features the State Emblem of the Russian Empire - a double-headed eagle with wings spread and lowered. Above the eagle's heads is the imperial crown. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow - a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). The eagle holds thunderbolts and a torch in its right talon and a laurel wreath in its left, intertwined with the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. Below the eagle is the mintmark - the letters 'S.P.B.'.
