Below it, the text is struck in two lines in Norwegian: '20 KR NORGE' - 20 Kroner, Norway, framed by the mintmark of the Kongsberg Mint: crossed hammer and pick and the letter 'EF', belonging to the artist Enzo Finger. At the bottom near the rim is the year of issue: 1999.
Obverse
In the central part, an image of Akershus Fortress. To its right, on the fortress wall, the letters 'IAR' - the mark of the artist Ingrid Austlid Rise. In the lower part, along the curve of the coin's edge, an inscription in Norwegian: 'AKERHUS 700 ÅR' - Akershus 700 years.
