    In the central part, there is an octagonal cartouche with a profile of a young woman in a floral wreath—a symbolic image of Ukraine, based on a design by Heorhiy Narbut from the 1918 State Credit Note. Above the cartouche are figures of five ancient athletes; below it are figures of five modern athletes. To the right of the cartouche is the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine; to the left is a two-line inscription ATLANTA XXVI. Around the top rim is the inscription FIRST PARTICIPATION IN THE SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES.
