    In the central part, a stylized depiction of three spearheads. Above, between them, the inscription "3P" - three pence. On the left, the inscription in numerals "19", on the right - "34", indicating the year of issue. Along the arc of the left edge of the coin and on the right is the text in English, the name of the British colony, "SOUTHERN RHODESIA". Below, between the bases of the spearheads, are the letters "N" and "G" - denoting the artist's initials. Around the edge of the coin are decorative elements in the form of denticles.
