    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of crossed battle axes, which divide the mint year '1936' into two parts. On either side of the axes is the country name in English - 'SOUTHERN RHODESIA', below - six pence in two lines - '6 PENCE'. Between the axe heads are the medallist's initials: 'KG' - George Edward Kruger-Gray. The edge is decorated with decorative denticles.
  • Obverse
    In the central part of the coin is struck the left-facing profile of King George V of Great Britain. Along the rim, split into two parts, is text in English: on the right - 'GEORGE V KING', on the left - 'EMPEROR', which translates to 'GEORGE V KING EMPEROR'. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
