    On the surface of the brilliant mirror field of the coin in the center, against the background of the contours of stadium running tracks—the Universiade logo (inscription in four lines: 'UNIVERSIADE KAZAN 2013 RUSSIA', executed in fonts of different sizes, with five small stars below it) and the Universiade emblem (a stylized graphic image of a tulip), located to the left of the logo; at the top—the contour outlines of the city with cathedral domes and minarets; on the band near the rim, formed by a concentric line—an inscription running from left down to right: 'XXVII WORLD SUMMER UNIVERSIADE 2013 IN KAZAN', complemented at the top by a floral ornament.
