Below, the number 10 is within a frame. The frame is flanked on the right by a palm branch and on the left by a laurel branch. Along the edge of the coin, an inscription in Latin arcs on the right and left: 'HVN∙BOH∙LOMB∙ET VEN∙GAL∙LOD∙IL∙REX∙A∙A1818∙' (King of Hungary, Bohemia, Lombardy and Venice, Galicia, Lodomeria, Illyria, Archduke of Austria 1818). The edge is decorated with decorative denticles.

In the center is the right-facing profile of Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, Francis II, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. On both sides of the portrait are semicircular laurel branches. Below the truncation is the Latin letter 'V' - the mint mark for Venice. Along the rim, an inscription in Latin is split into two parts: 'Francis I, by the Grace of God, Emperor of Austria': on the right 'FRANCISCVS I∙D∙G∙', on the left 'AVST∙IMPERATOR∙'. The rim is decorated with raised decorative denticles.
