    In the central part, within a diamond-shaped border of dots, is the coat of arms of the Austrian Empire: a double-headed eagle with wings spread, its heads crowned, above them the Crown of Saint Stephen. In its right talon is a sword, in its left a scepter. On the eagle's breast, within a circle framed by a chain, is the numeral '30'. Outside the border, at each corner, is a six-pointed star. Along the edges of the border is the German inscription 'WIENER ST∙BANCO ZETT∙THEILUNG∙MÜNZ Z∙30∙K∙' (Vienna City Bank Bill division coin of 30 Kreuzer). Around the outer edge, along the rim, is the German inscription 'DREYSSIG KREUTZER ERBLAENDISCH∙1807∙' (Thirty Kreuzer hereditary lands 1807). The edge of the coin has a toothed pattern.

    In the center, within a diamond-shaped border of dots, is the right-facing profile of Franz II, Emperor of Austria, King of Hungary and Bohemia, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Below the portrait is the Latin letter 'S'. Outside the border: at each edge is the number '30', at each corner is a six-pointed star. Along the arc of the coin's edge is the German text 'FRANZ KAIS∙V∙OEST∙KOEN∙Z∙HUN∙BOEH∙GALIZ∙U∙LOD∙' (Franz Emperor of Austria, King of Hungary, Bohemia, Galicia and Lodomeria). The rim of the coin features decorative raised teeth.
