Below the bow, the Latin letter "A" - the mint mark of Paris. From left to right, along the rim, the inscriptions «LIBERTÉ», «ÉGALITÉ», «FRATERNITÉ», which translate from French as "LIBERTY", "EQUALITY", "FRATERNITY". Between the inscriptions are raised dots. At the bottom left, an oak leaf and a heraldic lily; at the bottom right, an anchor. Around the circumference, denticles.
