    In the central part, a shield divided by a cross, with a leopard in the center. In the first quarter of the shield are swords, in the second – a castle standing on a base of two belts, in the third – a cocoa tree, in the fourth – a gold mine. On either side of the shield, the mint year '1975' is split into two parts: '19' on the left, '75' on the right. Above and below, text in English, split into two parts: 'TEN PESEWAS'. The edge is decorated with decorative denticles.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, within a raised circle, a cocoa tree trunk with four pods. Along the edge of the coin, a decorative raised pattern in the form of denticles, along which inscriptions in English: at the top the country name, flanked on both sides by a dot 'GHANA'; on the left, bottom, and right 'FREEDOM AND JUSTICE'.
