Obverse The center of the obverse features a crowned double-headed eagle. On its chest is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland, placed under a royal crown and a canopy. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter and a sword, with the initial 'F•' below it. In its left talon, an orb is visible, with the initial 'H•' below it. Together, the letters indicate the mintmaster Fryderyk Hunger.
