    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of a lying tiger. Along the arc of the left and right edge of the coin is the inscription: 'ENDANGERED WORLD WILDLIFE'. Along the arc of the lower edge is the inscription in English: '10 DOLLARS.'.

    In the central part is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II. Below the neck truncation of the portrait is the mintmark of the producer (mint) Pobjoy 'PM'. To the left and right along the rim are inscriptions in English: 'ELIZABETH II' and 'COOK ISLANDS'. At the bottom near the rim is the year of mintage 1990.
