    The central part features the numeral 20 within a circle of raised dots. Along the rim are denticles, bordering the English inscriptions: at the top – the name of the British colony in Southeast Asia on the Malacca Peninsula - 'STRAITS SETTLEMENTS'; at the bottom – twenty cents and the mint year 1890 - 'TWENTY CENTS 1890', separated by two raised dots.
  • Obverse
    The central part depicts the crowned left-facing profile of British Queen Victoria. Along the rim, split into two parts, is the English text: on the right - 'QUEEN', on the left - 'VICTORIA', which translates to 'QUEEN VICTORIA'. Below is the Birmingham Mint mark 'H'. The edge of the coin features denticles.
