    In the central part is the left-facing profile of King George V of Great Britain. Along the edge of the coin runs a Latin inscription 'GEORGIVS V REX ET IND: IMP:', which translates to 'GEORGE V KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA'. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
