At the top along the edge of the coin the words BANK OF RUSSIA, at the bottom the year of issue '2009', on the left side is an olive branch, and on the right an oak branch. Both branches slightly overlap the central insert. In the central part, the denomination is indicated — the number '10', and below it the currency unit — 'RUBLES'. Inside the digit '0', depending on the viewing angle, you can see the inscriptions '10' and 'RUB'. Above the year of issue is the mint mark 'SPMD' (Saint Petersburg Mint).
