    In the central part is the lesser coat of arms of the Austrian Empire: a double-headed eagle with wings spread, its heads crowned, above them the Crown of Saint Stephen; in the eagle's right talon are a sword and scepter, in the left an orb; on its breast is a cross, upon which is the family heraldic shield of Habsburg-Lorraine, encircled by a chain; below the shield are the highest awards of the empire. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin inscription to the right and left: 'HVN∙BOH∙GAL∙REX∙A∙A∙D∙LO∙SAL∙WIRC∙1807∙' (King of Hungary, Bohemia, Galicia, Archduke of Austria, Dalmatia, Lodomeria, Salzburg, Würzburg 1807). The edge of the coin features dot-like elements.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Francis II, Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Around the edge of the coin, from left to right, runs the Latin text: 'FRANCISCVS I∙D∙G∙AVSTRIAE IMPERATOR∙' (Francis I, by the Grace of God, Emperor of Austria). In the lower part is the letter 'A' – the mint mark for the Vienna Mint. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
