    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with spread wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown; on its breast is the crowned coat of arms of Lorraine and Tuscany; in its right talon is a sword, in its left a scepter. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin inscription to the right and left: 'IN TE DOMINE SPERAVI∙1747' (In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust 1747). Below, the number six in Roman numerals 'VI', framed by the eagle's tail feathers. To the left above a feather is the Latin letter 'H.', to the right 'A.' (mint mark of Hall, Tyrol). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I Stephen, Duke of Lorraine. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin text: to the left and right 'FRANC∙D:G∙R∙I∙S∙A∙GER∙IER∙REX∙' (Francis, by the Grace of God, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, King of Germany and Jerusalem). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
