Obverse The center of the obverse features a crowned double-headed eagle. On its breast is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland, under a royal crown and canopy. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter and a sword, and below it is the letter 'F•'. In its left talon, an orb is visible, and below it is the letter 'H•'. Together, the letters indicate the mintmaster Fryderyk Hunger.
