    Along the left arc of the coin's edge is the word: 'SOUTHERN', on the right: 'RHODESIA', which translates from English as 'Southern Rhodesia'. In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of two axes dividing the issue date '1937' into two parts. Above them is the inscription in English '6 PENCE'. Along the arc of the coin's edge are decorative elements in the form of denticles.
