    In the central part is a double-headed eagle crowned with an imperial crown - a symbol of the monarchs of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Styria (Austria): a panther on a shield, breathing fire. The eagle stands on a pedestal topped with two branches. Inside the pedestal is the number 10, indicating the coin's denomination of 10 Kreuzer. Along the left and right arcs of the coin's edge is the inscription: «ARCHID. AUST. DUX BURG.&.STYR.», which translates from German as «Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy and Countess of Styria», followed by the mint year 1764 and the mint mark «Х». The coin's rim features a decorative raised pattern of dashes.

    In the central part is the right-facing profile of Queen Maria Theresa, framed by a wreath of two branches. Along the arc of the coin's edge from left to right runs the text «M. THERESIA. D. G. R. IMP. GE. HU. BO. REG», which translates from German as «Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia». The coin's rim features a decorative raised pattern of dashes.
