Below the shield are the empire's highest honors. Along the edge arc, from right to left, is a Latin inscription: «HVN:BOH:GAL:REX∙A:A:LO:WI:ET IN FR:DVX∙1815∙» (King of Hungary, Bohemia, Galicia, Archduke of Austria, Lodomeria, Würzburg, Duke of Franconia 1815). The rim is decorated with decorative teeth.

The center features a right-facing profile of Francis II, Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Along the edge, from left to right, runs a Latin text: «FRANCISCVS I:D:G:AVSTRIAE IMPERATOR∙» (Francis I, by the Grace of God, Emperor of Austria). At the bottom is the letter «A» – the mint mark for the Vienna Mint. The rim features decorative raised teeth.
