    In the central part is a maple leaf. In the center of the leaf is depicted a poppy flower - a symbol of remembrance for the victims of the First World War. Above the flower, in the top lobe of the leaf, is a two-line inscription: '25 cents'. Below the leaf is a ribbon with a two-line inscription: 'REMEMBER SOUVENIR'. To the right of the ribbon is 'CS', the monogram of engraver Cosme Saffioti. Along the upper edge arc, the country name Canada in English - 'CANADA' and the year of issue 2004, framed and separated by maple leaves.
