    In the central part, within a wreath of two branches tied together with a ribbon forming a bow, the two-line inscription 2 francs 1903: "2 Fr. 1903". Around the circumference along the rim are decorative elements in the form of denticles.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, within an unclosed circle consisting of 22 five-pointed stars, is an image of Liberty. She holds in her left hand a lowered shield bearing the Swiss national coat of arms, and in her right hand a spear (point upwards). Below is the name of the personified symbol of Switzerland – Helvetia in Latin: "HELVETIA". To the right and left of the country's name are the engraver's marks "A. BOVY" and "INCT." respectively. Around the circumference are decorative raised denticles.
