  • Reverse
    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of a sword pointing upwards. From left to right of it, an orchid wreath is depicted, intertwined at the top and cascading downwards. Above the wreath, on the left and right, is an inscription in Nepali. Below, under the sword, a two-line inscription denotes the denomination - 1 rupee. All inscriptions and images are enclosed within a circular line. At the top, around the entire circumference, are images encircled by decorative elements in the form of continuous lines, inside which eight letters from the Nepali alphabet are presented. The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of denticles.
  • Obverse
    In the central part is a relief image of a trident within a circle, surrounded by geometric shapes with inscriptions in Nepali. To the left and right of them, there is an intricate solid line with relief images in the form of dots. Inside it are stylized depictions of cult and religious objects, arranged one above the other: on the left - the sun at the top, a lotus flower at the bottom. On the right - a conch shell at the top, and a staff (vajra) at the bottom. All images are separated from each other. Below, within a decorative line divided by an ascending stroke, the date of issue "1952" is presented in the Nepali calendar according to the Bikram Samvat era, during the reign of King Tribhuvan of the Shah dynasty. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
