    In the central part of the coin, the left-facing profile of King George V of Great Britain is struck. Along the arc of the coin's edge runs the Latin text '∙GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:', which translates to 'GEORGE V BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF ALL THE BRITONS, DEFENDER OF THE FAITH, EMPEROR OF INDIA'. Below the portrait is a dot. The coin's edge is decorated with decorative raised denticles.
