Obverse The center of the obverse features a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle wear crowns, with a larger third crown between them. On the eagle's breast, under a crown and canopy, is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland (a crowned single-headed eagle). The double-headed eagle holds a scepter and sword in its right talon and an orb in its left. Under the right talon is the letter 'K•', under the left is the letter 'G•'. The initials of mint master Karol Gronau.
