On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow - a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Surrounding the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left an orb. Below the right talon is the letter "Ф", below the left talon is the letter "Г". These are the initials of mintmaster Fedor (Fyodor) Gelman. Below the initials is the year of issue "1810.". The rim is decorated with dots.
